This years science conference will include talks about European Green Crab, Soil plot tests, earthquakes, tsunamis, sea level rise planning, integrated pest management and more! Stay tuned for a full agenda. The conference will begin at 9 am at The Cranberry Museum in Long Beach and will be capped off with a free seafood dinner at the end of the day. Utilize Science About critical coastal habitats and assess the impacts of coastal development Promote Healthy Coastal Communities Through improved infrastructure and sustainable practices Upcoming Events Event Date PCMRC Board Meeting May 9th – 5 pm at the Ilwaco Library Community Room Annual Science Conference May 18th from 9 am – 4 pm at The Cranberry Museum in Long Beach MRC Board Members Our board of supervisors meets on the second Thursday of every month from 5:00 – 7:00 pm rotating between the Pacific Conservation District Office and the Ilwaco Library Community Room every other month. The Pacific County MRC will continue to hold board meetings virtually on Zoom until is is reasonably safe” which is defined as low or very low COVID-19 risk.
